Browning, MO Mule Runaway Accident, May 1927

Met With Fatal Accident

A. W. Bisby, a young farmer and stockman, residing near Browning met with a fatal accident Monday when a span of mules he was driving ran away. Mr. Bisby suffered severe injuries to his back and head and one of his shoulders was lacerated. According to a message received in the city by Mrs. Bisby's sister, Mrs. T. A. Mullins, Mr. Bisby passed away early Tuesday morning. He is survived by his widow, a daughter, Agnes, a son, Loyal and his mother, Mrs. Margaret H. Bisby and several brothers and sisters. The funeral will be held a the Bear Branch Church, north of Brookfield Thursday afternoon at two o'clock.
