Partridge, MN Train Accident, May 1908

PARTRIDGE, Minn., May 23. - The afternoon limited train on the Great Northern struck and almost instantly killed Nels Johnson, the seven-year-old boy of Mr. and Mrs. Martin Johnson. He was thrown 30 feet and died in a few minutes. The boy is thought to have been watching an approaching freight train when the passenger came from the opposite direction.
