Big Department Store Burned

Breckenridge, Minn., March 22. - Mikache & Vertin's department store has been totally destroyed by fire with the entire contents, causing a loss of $100,000. The First national bank building was badly burned. The loss of the latter is covered by insurance.

FERGUS FALLS FIREMEN CALLED ON FOR AID

FERGUS FALLS, Minn., March 21. - The Fergus Falls fire department received an urgent call to come to the relief of Breckenridge yesterday, as the business section of that city was threatened by fire. The alarm bell rung, the department assembled and the apparatus was rushed to the station, but while waiting for the train word was received that the fire was under control. The greatest damage was done in Mislehke & Vertin's large department store and the bank building.
