U. S. AUTHORITIES INVESTIGATE FIRE
Detroit, Mich., March 29.---United States authorities are investigating a fire that totally destroyed the leather goods plant of Armstrong and Graham, army saddlers, late last night, entailing a loss of more than $500,000. Among the articles destroyed were 24,000 sets of finished harness and saddlery for the Untied States army, and the fact that delivery of this material was to be made this week, leads officials to suspect alien enemy activity in connection with the fire.
