Allston, MA Train Accident, Jun 1871

RAILROAD ACCIDENT.----About noon Tuesday, a man named O. F. Brown, in the employ of the Boston and Albany Railroad Co., fell from a baggage car while the train was in motion near the depot at Allston, Mass., and the wheels passing across his thighs, injured him so seriously that it was thought he could not survive. He was conveyed to the Massachusetts General Hospital, and died within two hours after. He was 19 years of age, and belonged in Friendship, Maine.
