Flames Interrupt One Christmas Dinner Party

Gloucester, Dec. 25--Fire that did $2500 damage in the home of James Greeley on Beacon street this noon broke up his Christmas dinner and menaced several houses in the neighborhood before being extinguished. With a stiff wind blowing, the firemen for three hours with the blaze. A water pipe that broke rendered one hydrant useless in addition to reducing the pressure.
