FABBRI HOME BURNED.

Wife of New Yorker Has Narrow Escape in Maine Fire.

BAR HARBOR, Me., Jan. 24.--The large country home here of E. G. Fabbri of New York was burned early today with all its furnishings, including many valuable rugs, tapestries, and paintings.

The loss is estimated at $150,000, part of which is covered by insurance.

Members of the family who have been staying here recently, including Mrs. Fabbri, were asleep when the fire was discovered. They were forced to flee in thin clothing from the building, with the temperature at zero.
