BURNING OF THE MILITARY ASYLUM AT AUGUSTA, ME.

Augusta, Me., Monday, Jan. 6.
The loss by the burning of the Military Asylum is estimated at $150,000. One of the patients froze to death while being removed here. The inmates are now well cared for in Waverly Hall, in this city.
DR. DREED, Surgeon of the asylum, lost all his personal effects.
