THREE KILLED IN ACCIDENT.

Mound, La. -- Three members of a Texas family taking a holiday trip to Florida were killed early today in a two-car accident near the Louisiana-
Mississippi state line, Louisiana state police said.
An Austin, Texas, man was arrested on multiple charges, including negligent homicide and driving while intoxicated. Police said the suspect, RICHARD HOUSE, 24, fled the scene and hid in nearby weeds for about three hours before surrendering. Police said the accident occurred at about 2:30 a.m. on Interstate 20 near Mound, La., when a sports car rear-ended the small car in which the family was riding.
KEVIN WILCOX, 27, of North Ridgeland, Texas, was killed. Also killed were WILCOX'S son and stepson, JOE D. WILCOX, aged 5, and DANIEL TAYLOR, aged 11. WILCOX'S wife, DENISE, 31, was badly burned in the accident and was in critical but stable condition at a Greenville, Miss., hospital.
