EIGHT KILLED AS CAR, TRUCK HIT.

THREE BROTHERS ON LIST OF FATALITIES.

Pineville, Ky., (AP) - Eight persons, three of them brothers, were killed on a deserted stretch of highway near here Friday when a car and pickup truck collided. Two others were injured critically.
State police identified six of the dead riding in the car as:
JAMES PATRICK, JR., 33, Cincinnati; his wife, MRS. LAVAUGHN PATRICK, 30; their two children, MARGARET, one month, and BRENDA, 3 years old; ROBERT JEAN PATRICK, 20, Toledo, Ohio; and WILBURN PATRICK, 19, Toledo, brothers of JAMES.
Two others critically injured was JOE PATRICK, 7-year-old daughter of MR. and MRS. JAMES PATRICK, and another son, JERRY PATRICK, 4.
Killed in the pickup truck were WILLIAM MILLER, 17, of nearby Jayem, and HARRY HATFIELD, 17, also of Jayem.
The PATRICKS were on their way to spend the Christmas holidays with Mrs. Patrick's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Pearl Brittain, High Splint, Harlan County.
