7 KILLED AS CARS CRASH.

Highland, Kans. (UPI) - Seven men were killed when two cars collided near here, hurling one of the vehicles a distance of 92 feet.
The Kansas Highway Patrol said the accident happened about two-thirds of a mile east of here on U. S. Route 36.
One car contained men from Lawry Air Force Base, Denver. The other was occupied by Highland residents.
The dead were identified as CHARLES E. STEVENSON, 21; EDWARD G. WIELAND, 19, and JAMES F. CLARKIN, 20, all from the air base; ERNEST W. POFF, 19, Denver; and LARRY L. SHAY, 24; TERRY W. LEWIS, 16; and MICHAEL D. McKAY, 18, all of Highland.
