FIRE AT CAMERON.

INCENDIARIES AT WORK.

MOST OF THE TOWN BURNED.

TOTAL LOSS, $132,000.

Cameron, Oct. 20. - This place was visited by a very destructive fire last night, which destroyed a large business portion of the town. The fire broke out in a livery stable about one o'clock , and is thought to have been the work of an incediary.

The principal losers were: Walt Mathias, $12,000; Peter Fisher & Sons, $15,000; M. L. Walker, $12,000; Samuel Mathias, $10,000; Conway & Bros., $5,000; J. M. Hanly, $15,000; Ballard's Panorama of New York, $16,000; Vaincil's Hall, occupied by the Odd Fellows, and A. F. and A. M. fraternity loss $5,000 and a large number of other losses, ranging from $500 to $3,000, making an aggregate of $132,000. The American Hotel and Masonic Hall were among the buildings burned. Insurance North Missouri, $6,500; State of Hannibal, Missouri, $3,800; Merchants, of St. Joe, 25,00; Fire Marine, St. Joe, 66,00; Noble, of Hannibal, 39,00; Underwriters, New York, 75,000; Kansas Fire and Marine, 15,000; Chauteau, St. Louis, 15,000; Etna, 13,000, and a few smaller amounts aggregating 32,250.
