Three Die In Plane Crash

Coffeyville, Kas., Residents Victims of Accident

Hoisington, Kan., May 8. – A woman and two men killed when their plane crashed and burned tonight as they were about to land at the Hoisington airport.

The dead were Mr. and Mrs. Warren JESSUP and W. W. HOUGHTON, all of Coffeyville, Kan.

JESSUP, owner of the plane, was on his way here to visit his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Quincy JESSUP. The bodies were burned beyond recognition. JESSUP had been flying for several years. His monoplane fell from a height of about 200 feet and crashed in a wheat field adjoining the Hoisington airport.

JESSUP was about 30 years old and his wife slightly younger.
