IOWA FALLS SUFFERS A FIRE LOSS OF $3,200 TODAY.

Iowa Falls, Ia., April 18. -- Fire this afternoon totally destroyed the I. X. L. laundry owned by the Iowa Falls Laundry Co., value six thousand dollars. The insurance was $3,250 as follows:
Insurance Co. of Illinois $750, Achen-Munich, $700, German National reinsured in Dubuque Fire and Marine, $1,100, New York Underwriters, $700. It is thought there may be some salvage in machinery. Nothing was saved. Fire broke out at the noon hour and the origin is unknown. No one was on the premises at the time and the fire was too far under way when the alarm was given, for the fire department to do more than confine the fire to the building. The property, until recently, was owned by Des Moines parties, MRS. MEHAN and R. W. TENNELL. The new company employed local capital.
