Sioux City,----Fire, which swept through the four-story hanm and storage house of Armour & Co., causing damage estimated at $75,000, will bring to the Sioux City packing house district a new fireproof storage house of nearly twice the capacity of the former structure. The cost of the new structure will be about $100,000.

The storage house will be six to seven stories in height. It will be built of reinforced concrete. The men thrown out of employment by the fire---between eighty and ninety---will be given work within a week or ten days. Work of rebuilding the storage house was under way Monday afternoon.

Announcement of the plans of the company were made public Monday by R. C. Howe, western manager for the packing company, who came here from his Omaha headquarters Sunday to take charge of the general situation and to superintendent the preparations for rebuilding the structure.
