Arm Bruised by Hailstorm.

Special Dispatch to the World-Herald.

Woodbine, Ia., June 2.—Emmit Vining’s arm was painfully bruised by being struck by an unusually large hail stone in the storm Tuesday evening. Though his team got away in the storm, yet the two little boys with Vining escaped without injury.

Following the storm of Saturday night H. S. Hawkins and daughter Stella, had a narrow escape when their team walked over an embankment, turning the wagon completely over, but without materially injuring either occupant of the conveyance.
