THREE FROM GREAT BEND DIE IN CRASH.

Lincoln, Neb. (AP) -- Major CHARLES W. DELANEY and Warrant Officer LAWRENCE E. JENKINS, both of Second Air Force Headquarters at Colorado Springs, Colo, were among the six men killed when a B-26 bomber crashed in a Missouri River slough near Council Bluffs, Ia., the Lincoln Air Field announced Saturday.
The Great Bend, Kansas Army Air Field, home base of the plane, identified the other victims as:
Second Lt. JOHN P. FORTNER, pilot, Princeton, Ind.
Capt. ALFRED L. MOBLEY, co-pilot, Graham, Texas.
Sgt. JOSEPH J. GUSH, engineer, Chicago, Ill.
Sgt. JOE G. MALLARD, Sardis, Ga.
DELANEY, JENKINS and MALLARD were passengers on the plane. The other three were stationed at Great Bend.
