KINNIS and his three sons were the only persons in the neighborhood of the boiler when it exploded and so no one can tell how the accident happened.
People living near heard the explosion and when they reached the scene found the boiler and buildings in atoms and the bodies and parts of bodies of the men scattered about. The explosion was a violent one, parts of the body, a skull, and foot were found at a distance of 300 yards from the scene. The debris was scattered all around.
KINNIS was a well known character in Warren county and had for years operated a portable sawmill. He leaves a wife and several younger children.
