3 EASTERN IOWANS DIE IN ACCIDENT.

Special to The Gazette.
Baldwin -- Three young East Iowans were killed early today in a one-car crash 2 miles north of this Jackson County town.
Dead are:
RONALD FRANK BENHART, 22, son of Mrs. Donald Nowacheck of Oxford Junction.
CORITA MARIE GARSIDE, 16, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Garside of Wyoming.
DUANE ANTHONY WEIMERSKIRCH, 22, of LaMotte.
The highway patrol said the westbound car was driven by BENHART. It went off the end of a Jackson Country road at a 'T' intersection and struck an embankment about 2:50 a.m. All three were instantly killed.
The 1963 model car was demolished, officers said.
The bodies of MISS GARSIDE and BENHART were taken to the Hayden funeral home in Wyoming. LaMOTTE is in Northeastern Jackson county.
Their deaths brought the 1965 Iowa traffic toll to 735, compared to 776 on Dec. 4 last year, according to the Associated Press count.
