Plymouth, IN Collision Kills Five, Jul 2000

FIVE KILLED IN CRASH NEAR PLYMOUTH.

Plymouth - Five people were killed and a sixth was critically injured early Tuesday after the truck they were riding in ran into a tractor trailer at an intersection, according to the Marshall County Sheriff's Department.
The victims were all male and ranged in age from 16 to 23.
The accident happened on U.S. 30 just east of Plymouth at about 2 a.m. Investigators said a small pickup truck with six people in it went through a stop sign and struck the side of a tractor trailer.
The following were pronounced dead at the scene: JOE CASTELUCCI, 19; ANDREW C. HICKEY, 16; JERRY BOYER, 17; and JOSH CASTELUCCI, 16, all of Bremen; and JARED A. BRANDL, 23, of Nappanee.
It was unclear whether the CASTELUCCIS were related.
Sixteen-year-old JUSTIN QUENAN of Plymouth was in critical condition Tuesday evening at Memorial Hospital in South Bend.
