TWO-CAR CRASH KILLS 5 UPSTATE.

AUBURN MAN, WIFE AND 3 BOYS VICTIMS.

Kendallville, Ind., Sept. 21. - (AP) - Five persons were killed in a two-car collision on Ind. 9, three miles east of Avilla at the DeKalb-Noble County Line tonight. Their deaths raised Indiana's weekend total to 15.
The victims were identified as:
GLENN E. NICOLAI, 58 years old, Auburn;
his wife, FLOSSIE, 58;
and their grandson, TOM BULLOCK, 9;
TEDDY C. BOWER, 18, Rome City;
and his brother, ANDREW, 16.
State police said a car driven by TEDDY BOWER passed another auto on the crest of a hill and crashed into the NICOLAI auto. Both cars were demolished.
All five bodies were pinned in the crushed autos and had to be cut out.
