A Terrible Accident at Wabash, Indiana

Wabash, IN, May 23 - Morris Eagen*, 11 years old, son of M. G. Eagen* Big Four night yard foreman, died last night from injuries received when he was run down by an automobile.

Eagen failed to see an approaching auto, which was being driven by a demonstrator. The motorist also failed to see the boy until his machine struck him.


Friends in this city and at North Madison received word today of the accident.

The child's father is a son of Michael EGAN*, Jr., who formerly lived here, being a son of the late Michael EGAN*, Sr., who was an employe of the P., C., C., & St. L at North Madison many years ago.

The child has two aunts, Cecilian and Anna Egan, at North Madison. He was a nephew of Miss Mary Egan, and also of Mr. Archibald Leonard, this city.

The remains will be brought to North Madison tonight or tomorrow for burial at St. Patrick's Cemetery.
