FIVE KILLED IN BUS ACCIDENT.

TRANSPORT SIDESWIPED IN INDIANA.

TWENTY-FIVE PERSONS HURT IN CRASH OF CHICAGO TO NEW YORK BUS NEAR GOSHEN.

Goshen, Ind. -- (UP) -- Five persons were killed and 25 injured today when a Transcontinental Greyhound bus overturned in a ditch after colliding with an automobile at an intersection north of here.
None of the injured was reported in serious condition.
The dead:
ALLISON BISHOPRIE, 55, Cincinnati, O., believed to have been driver of the car.
JOHN HEINSOHA, 50, Buffalo, N.Y.
A. C. CARPENTER, Iowa City, Ia.
MRS. JAMES KELLEHER, Albany, N.Y.
RAYMOND BUSKIN, St. Louis.
JOSEPH SZEAZ, Cleveland, O., was reported dead in the confusion following the crash but was found later in city hospital here.
ALICE CARPENTER daughter of one of the men killed was reported dead when she was mistaken for another girl taken unconscious to the Elkhart Hospital. She was found injured later.
Most serious of the injured were MRS. ANDREW STATELLA, 35, Omaha, Nebr., and her daughter, ANNA, 7.
Witnesses said the automobile, a heavy sedan ran through a stop sign and sideswiped the bus, knocking it more than 20 yards.
The heavy bus rolled over and landed on its top in a ditch.
The bus left Chicago at 6:10 a.m., carrying 36 passengers en route to New York via Toledo and Cleveland, O. The accident occurred shortly after 11 a.m. C.S.T.
