Jumps From Truck, Cracks Skull; Dies
Sad Fare Befalls 15-Year-Old Calumet City School Girl This Morning
Louise Molnar, 15-year-old Calumet City school girl, of 521 Freeland Avenue, died in St. Margaret’s hospital early this morning from a fractured skull suffered in a fall from a truck last night.
The girl had hitched a ride in the truck from Clifford Loutz of 3329 Ridge Road, Lansing, Ill., with a girl friend, Dorothy Moore, 14, of 495 Ingraham Avenue and she decided to jump from the rear of the truck. As she fell she struck her head on the pavement and lost consciousness. She was taken to the hospital by police but her condition did not give any hope of recovery.
Loutz was held by the Calumet City Police while an investigation of the accident was being completed.
The girl is survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Molinar; three brothers, John, Andrew and William; and one sister, Phyllis. The funeral will be from the Burns’ funeral home Thursday afternoon at 2 o’clock. The body will be buried in the Elmwood cemetery with Rev. W.J. Krahn officiating.
