KILLED IN PLANE CRASH.

Frankfort, Ind. (UPI) -- JOHN EDWARD WORK, 19, Frankfort, was killed Saturday night when a rented plane crashed in a farm field near Russiavaille northeast of here.
WORK, an aeronautical student at Tulsa, Okla., was returning to Tulsa after a holiday visit here with his parents, Dr. and Mrs. Bruce Work. The plane crashed shortly after he took off from the airport here.
Authorities said they were not able to determine how he wound up northeast of here after taking off in a southwesterly direction. The cause of the crash was not determined.
Wreckage of the plane was scattered over a 200 yard area. It took authorities about three hours to remove WORK'S body from the craft.
