PLANE MAIL CARRIER IS BURNED TO DEATH.
Elkhart, Ind., March 10, -- (AP) -- A government airplane mail carrier identified by marks on his clothing as Lieut. CLAYTON STONER, of New York, was burned to death in his airplane when it fell near New Paris, Ind., about 10 a.m. today.
STONER became lost in the mist and was seeking the Wabash railroad, which mail carriers follow daily in their flights over this section of the country.
