Carried to Fellow Employes [sic], Who Thus Became Aware of Accident.

BEDFORD, Ind., June 8.—While the storm was raging last night WILLIAM TAPP, thirty-five years old, employed at the United States cement mill, was caught in a conveyor and only saved himself from being ground into mincemeat by grasping a rod and holding until his leg with its foot was torn from his body and carried above and thrown out among some fellow employes [sic}, who began the search for the remainder of their comrade, who was found in the described condition and with a hip also broken.
