Union, IL Car Crash Into Tree, May 1985

SINGLE CAR CRASH KILLS 6 YOUNG PEOPLE.

Union, Ill. - Six young people heading home from a fire department carnival were killed when their car crashed into a tree at a rural intersection, police said Saturday.
All six were pronounced dead at the scene.
Three of the victims attended Marengo High School, including ROBIN WILSON, 18, who was to graduate in June.
The McHenry County sheriff's department identified the driver as GEORGE WILSON, 20, of Marengo. Two other victims were his sisters, ROBIN, and LISA, whose ages were unavailable. The other victims were DAVID RANDALL, 17, of Harvard; and CHERYL VERNOLA, 17, and CHERYL NICHOLLS, 16, both of Marengo.
