Falls From Tree; Dead

Samuel Austin, a prominent farmer residing near Beason, was killed in a fall from a tree which he was trimming. Working with him was W. T. Clary, on whose farm the accident occurred. A sapling branch struck Austin, who was facing the opposite direction. When struck he lost his balance, falling eighteen feet to the ground. He was picked up unconscious and lived for three hours.
