Backs Away From Mirror And Falls Four Stories

Chicago, June 26.-Raymond Wells, 20 years old, a son of R.M. Wells, president of the Bankers’ National Bank, was probably fatally injured today by falling from a fourth floor window at No. 75 Jackson Boulevard. Wells as he backed away from a mirror stumbled over the low sill of the window. An awning broke the fall but the young man sustained a fracture of the skull and internal injuries. The accident was witnessed by scores of pedestrians, and one man was knocked down and slightly injured by the falling body.
