Chicago, IL Struck by Baseball, Sept 1904


Son of Ruskin University' s President Struck on Temple by Batted Ball.

CHICAGO, Sept. 5.—"Wendell Miller, twelve years old, son of George M. Miller, President of Ruskin University at Glen Ellyn, Ill., was killed this afternoon by a batted ball while watching a baseball game.

Miller was sitting in the grand stand when the ball struck him on the temple. He died in three minutes.
