PITTSBURGH, Aug. 19 -- At Petrolia,
Pa., a fire broke out in A. R. Ladd's building
which destroyed it and the Boulger House,
Griffin & Soalfield's Hotel and billiard rooms,
the Centennial Hotel, Smith's restaurant,
Pennsylvania Transportation Co. Building, H. L.
Taylor & Co.'s offices and dwelling, R.
Jennings' office, Oil Exchange building, Western
Union Telegraph offices and L. N. Ireland
machine shops. Loss, $50,000, insured.
