ONE KILLED, TWENTY HURT
Passenger Train on Lake Shore Road Runs
into Open Switch
Blissfield, Mich., Jan 21. -- One
trainman was killed and twenty passengers were
injured when an east-bound Lake Shore Railroad
passenger train ran into an open switch late
last night at Riga and collided with a freight
train, derailing and overturning all the coaches
The injuries included
W. H. Millikay of Roxbury, Mass,
leg broken, Clarence
Gilson, of Blissfield, Mich., leg
broken and Conductor
Willard Robb, Adrian, Mich, both legs
broken. The name of the dead man has not
yet been learned.
