1 MAN BELIEVED TO HAVE LOST HIS LIFE IN COLORADO FLOOD.

(By the Associated Press.)

Pueblo, Colo., May 27.—One man is believed to have lost his life tonight when high water in the Fountain river caused the bridge at Buttes, thirty miles north of here to collapse while he was passing over it in a motor truck.

High water is reported by the railroad companies to have caused considerable trouble. The Rock Island east of Colorado Springs, has several places in the right of way washed out. The Santa Fe reports that it bridge over the Rock Island tracks north of Colorado Springs has been carried away. The Denver & Rio Grande reports several bad washouts both north and south of Colorado Springs. Trains are still moving over the Denver & Rio Grande Western and the Santa Fe tracks but are forced to use each others tracks in many places to get through to Denver.
