SIX OF FAMILY KILLED IN CRASH.

ENGINE HITS AUTOMOBILE CONTAINING TOURIST PARTY AT SAN GABRIEL, CAL,. ONLY ONE PERSON ESCAPING.

Los Angeles, Cal., July 11. - Six persons were killed in an automobile accident at San Gabriel this afternoon. The dead were members of a tourist party from Caruthersville, Mo., residing temporarily at Long Beach.
A Southern Pacific engine backed into the automobile, in which eight persons were riding. Only one escaped injury.
The dead:
CARL HUFFMAN.
MRS. HUFFMAN.
AVERILL HUFFMAN, aged eight, daughter.
MELL HUFFMAN, aged seven, son.
GEORGE HUFFMAN, aged seven, son.
MISS O. HUFFMAN, sister of CARL HUFFMAN.
Another daughter, JOICE HUFFMAN, aged eleven, was severely injured.
