San Jose, CA Two On Bicycle Killed By Car, Nov 1957

YOUNG BROTHERS KILLED ON CYCLE.

San Jose, Calif. (AP) - Two young brothers, riding double on a bicycle, were killed Sunday when struck by a jeep that swerved off Bayshore Highway.
They were MANUEL HARO, 12, and his brother VENTURA HARO, 10. ROBERT GUEVARA, 10, riding alone, suffered head injuries and a broken leg.
Highway Patrolman Thomas Foster said the jeep veered onto the highway shoulder when the driver, Harold S. Cina, 21, reached behind the seat.
Cina was not arrested.
