Beaumont, CA Two Car Collision Kills Six, Jul 1959

TWO-CAR COLLISION KILLS 6 PERSONS IN CALIFORNIA.

Beaumont, Calif. (AP) - A head-on collision of two cars killed six persons near here today.
Five were members of one family.
Two persons were critically injured.
The highway patrol reported the cars smashed together on Highway 60, about two miles west of Beaumont.
Cause of the crash had not been learned.
The dead:
MRS. MARTHA ELIZABETH LANEY, 21;
OLIN KEITH LANEY, 17;
TERRY LANEY, 4;
EUGENE J. LANEY, 54;
and THELMA LANEY, 50, all of Fullerton, Calif., and JESSE G. BELL, about 30, believed to be from Branson, Mo.
The injured are HERSCHEL MILFORD LANEY, 25, Fullerton, driver of one of the cars, and MRS. MAMIE H. BELL, about 30, whose husband, JESSE, was the other driver.
