SIX KILLED WHEN CAR, TRUCK MEET.

Corning, Ark. (AP) - Six Maywood, Ill., Negroes were killed instantly Thursday when their car and a transport truck collided headon on U.S. Highway 67 seven miles west of this northeast Arkansas community.
State police identified the victims as:
FRANK J. JOSHWAY, 23;
ELLOUISE SPITTS, 19;
HUEY BANKS, 28;
EARLINE HALL, 27;
and her two children, HELEN HALL, 10, and ERNESTINE HALL, 9.
State Trooper Rue Luther said the accident occurred when JOSHWAY, the driver of the Illinois car, pulled out to pass a slow-moving line of traffic. He said the car collided with a truck driven by EDWARD NUSBOUM, 23, of Elkhart, Ind. NUSBAUM was not seriously injured.
