Glenville, AL Plantation Home Fire Kills 4, Mar 1895
HORRIBLE DEATH OF FOUR CHILDREN.
Nashville, March 2. - A dispatch from Glenville, Ala., tells of the horrible death of four children on a plantation near that place.
TOM and DORA MEADOWS left their children at home to attend a neighborhood dance. When they returned their cottage home was in ashes, and the charred remains of the little ones, the oldest of whom was 14, were found.
It is supposed the house caught fire and the children were burned while asleep.
