Bangor, AL Train Wreck, May 1891
A freight train on the Louisville and Nashville railroad broke in two near Bangor, Ala., Thursday night and ran back into the one following. The engine and several cars were wrecked and burned. One tramp was killed and three other tramps badly hurt. The engineer, J. H. Hair, who was making his first trip after his wedding was seriously injured.
